Prismacolor Pencils and First attempt


Here are my new pretty Prismacolor pencils :)  





...and here is my first attempt at colouring with them.  I am so pleased with the results I have got from them, think they are amazing!  I used a digital stamp, downloaded from Mo Manning. I used white odorless spirit and blending stumps to blend the colours.

    OMG Dawn, I just love this.
    Do you know I have had this same set of pencils (plus stumps and spirit) since November last year and I have just not wanted to use them as I thought I would just make a mess of colouring with them.
    Please let me know how you did it, would love to know.
    I cannot believe how gorgeous and delicate your image looks.

    Thanks Debbie, I know exactly where you are coming from except I only waited 4 days :) I was so afraid that I wouldn't be able to get a good result, but I sat and watched a load of Youtube vids, I especially liked the Stamping Bella ones, I made notes of what colours they used for skin and what techniques they used then put pencil to paper! Please please give them a go, they are beautiful to use and as I like delicate colouring they are just perfect, got up and about early today to spend the day colouring with them, I just LOVE them :)

      Thanks Susan :) Things well here, I have my pre-op assessment on 1st May so shouldn't be long after that for the OP. Will be glad once that's over and I am on the road to recovery.
