Woof!

Good evening, thanks for popping in.  Hope you are all well.
I have had a few days under the weather lately but starting to feel better now so thought I would have an evening catching up in Blogland and checking out all the lovely creations on the blogs that I follow, there are some really talented crafters out there!

Here's a little card that I made a a week or two ago, I have used a stamp from the Paper Smooches set, Chubby Chums, he is a cute little character and I just couldn't resist giving him some googly eyes :)  I have used some papers that I have had for years, not sure but they could be Dovecraft.  I have used my Epiphany punch and made some little embellishments from the paper and die cut a 'Happy Birthday' sentiment using a Die-Versions alphabet die.

Well I think it better be an early night for me, perhaps a little tv before bed.

Until next time...

I'm All Ears

Good evening everyone, hope you are keeping warm, dry and not being blown about too much.  We have had a little snow in the last couple of days but it's not lasted so that's good.

Had a great day at work today demonstrating the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch board, if you get the chance, have a look at all the amazing projects you can make with this neat little board, it's not just for making envelopes! There are loads of brilliant videos on You Tube. I will pop some pictures on my blog at a later date, but until then, here's a little card I made using Darcie's stamps, they are so cute!

I stamped out the image twice and coloured in with my Copic pens, I then cut out the image, the rabbit twice so that I could layer the rabbit on top.  I embossed some white card and mounted onto some sky blue card and popped them all onto a white card blank.  I have punched some little flowers and die cut a leafy flourish to decorate the edge of the card.  The sentiment was a stamp from the set.

Take care and thanks for popping in.

May Your Day Run Like Clockwork....

....Sadly my day was not like clockwork today :( but at least I was able to forget all my troubles at the Make and Take and enjoy the company of fellow crafters :)

The card I am showing you today has been made using the Cheery Lynn 'Owls With Gears' from their steam punk series. I have cut them out of some brown pearlescent card and then sat them on the Tim Holtz on the edge die, 'Steam Punk Cogs' The backing paper is from a Kanban paper pad, not sure if it was the Industrial or Mechanical pack but it was one or the other :)  It doesn't show too well on the photo but I did emboss the paper with a clockwork embossing folder from Sizzix.  The sentiment was done on my PC and then cut out with a Spellbinders die.  I have added a row of card candi down the side and some metal mini cogs as embellishments.

Well here's hoping tomorrow is a better day :)
Love for now
