Card and Tag to Match

Well it's got to Wednesday evening again, I don't know where the days go!  There's so much crafting to do and not enough hours left at the end of a day :)  I have a day off work tomorrow and day of crafting planned, all other jobs will have to wait.

Today I have a matching tag and card that I have made using a digi stamp from DigiStamp Boutique I have coloured the image with Copic pens and then die cut the circle on the card and rounded the corners on the tag.  I added a scalloped circle in pink on the card.  The clouds and grasses have been embossed using a couple of border folders that I got free with a magazine.  I have used white ribbon along with pink and white gingham ribbon on both the tag and card.  The tag has been cut using a Tim Holtz tag die.  The sentiments are from Tim Holtz - Visual Artistry (tag) and Crafter's Companion Rachelle Anne Miller (card)

Ok, it's off to watch a little TV before bed and then wake refreshed and ready to craft in the morning, wishing you all a good night and sweet dreams.

Thanks for popping by.

The Dog Did It!

Good evening folks, I have had a crafty day today, although I have managed to fit in a few household jobs along the way which were in desperate need of doing :)

Here is the tag that I have created using a Stampendous stamp, I think this is so funny, having a dog and three cats, there are times when I am sure that Maisie gets the blame for things that the cats have done :)  I stamped the image and coloured with my Copic pens and added some glossy accents to the magnifying glass, it looks much more realistic in real life than the photo though.  I then stamped a paw print background onto the tag and stamped the paw onto the white ribbon too.  I've added a dog and bone embellishment.

Well that's about all for today, I have my next project underway and hope to get that finished this evening.

Tag Book and Tags

Good evening everyone, hope you have all had a fabulous Easter break and the Easter bunny left you lots of lovely chocolate eggs :)  I have been busy working this weekend but I did manage to have a walk along the river with Maisie and Kevin at Bolton Abbey, it was wonderful in the evening sunshine although the wind was quite strong and very cold.

Well onto my crafty project...I would like to thank Janet Clarke for this idea, you can see her blog here. I saw some of the wonderful creations that were made at the retreat she had organised and thought what a great idea, I could start a tag book and then when I get a little tired of making cards I can have a change and add to my book.  The cover is a Worn Cover by Tim Holtz which I have covered with some script paper and added some metal corner protectors.  The sentiment has been stamped onto some craft card, I used a stamp from a Studio 490 set 'Approved Art'.  I added some 'screw' brads and mounted onto the front of the cover using Pinflair glue gel.  I then cut out a frame using the Honeycomb Tim Holtz Sizzix Alterations die (I LOVE this die!) and then I found some papers that I have had for ages Papermania 'Chronology' and selected little features to cut out and pop behind the frame, it was a fiddly process but I love the effect :)  So cover finished all I had to do was make some tags to pop inside.

The first few tags in my book have been made using the Jofy stamp sets that I just love.  I got my first set as a free subscription gift from Craft Stamper magazine and I am hooked on them, just think they are so quirky.  I have used acrylic paint and then stamped the flowers and leaves with a Versfine black ink pad and then coloured them with my Prisma colour pencils.  The sentiment has been stamped onto craft card and then I cut out the words individually and then stuck them to the tag.  I then doodled an edge and added some string and bakers twine.

So this is the start of my tag book, I will post the additions to the book as and when they are completed.

Enjoy your evening and thank you to all who take the time to comment, it means so much.

Have a Hoot

Good afternoon, hope you are enjoying the weekend.  I have just got back from a lovely walk along the river at Addingham, the sun was shining but the wind was quite cold. It was lovely to see the lambs in the fields and the baby ducklings on the river.

I am posting a card I finished today.  I have used a Crafter's Companion stamp by Rachelle Anne Miller, it's called 'Wise Words'  I love Rachelle's work and there are several other stamps that are now on my wish list :)  I have stamped the image with Memento ink and coloured with my copics.  I embossed a layer of white card using an Embossalicious cloud folder and then die cut the image and layered with dark brown card and a wood effect paper before mounting onto the 7x7 card blank.  The leaves I have used as embellishments were die cut and embossed using two shades of green card and the edges inked.

Thanks for dropping by and thank you in advance for the lovely comments you take the time to leave.

Happy Wishes

Good morning and thanks for dropping by,  I thought I would just share this little card with you that I made the other day. I am not too sure about this one, perhaps it will grow on me, just think it needs something else but not quite sure what, perhaps it will grow on me :)

I have used a Stampbotique stamp that I bought at Art From The Heart, I think he is so cute, I have coloured him with my Copic pens and cut him out and mounted him onto some die cut circles.  The sentiment has been stamped into a word bubble stamp from a Chocolate Baroque set.  I have added some liquid pearls to two corners.

I am off to my Pilates class shortly so will have to dash now but the rest of the day is set aside to craft...Yippee! No idea what I am going to make yet but that's half the pleasure of crafting.  Hope you enjoy your day whatever you have planned.

Mother's Day

Good evening everyone and thanks for popping by.  Hope you have all had a good day.

I  have eventually got round to showing the card that I made for Mother's day, yes I know it's a little late but it's not always easy to get the time to craft and blog and at the moment I am struggling to find time to do either :)  I made two cards exactly the same one for my mum and one for Kevin's mum.  I used the envelope punch board from We are Memory Keepers to make the ow on the front of the card and I embossed some white card with a border embossing folder, sorry not sure which one I used.  I used Graphic 45 paper, perfect petals Sweet Sentiments Collection.  I cut out the letters 'MUM' using my Cricut Create and then stamped and cut out the sentiment using a Lily of The Valley Stamp and some spellbinder dies.  I added a dazzler in the centre of the bow.  Both mums were delighted with their cards and I must admit I was pleased with how they turned out.

Well that's about all I have time for today, have a good evening and please call back soon.

Enjoy Your Day

Well I have a couple of days off now so really hoping I can do a bit of crafting and play with some of the new purchases I got at the Harrogate paper fair (GNPE) I have had them all sat on my craft desk ready to use but not had any time and I felt more and more frustrated as the days went by so I was up and about early today, got the washing on, hoovered up and flew round with my duster and polish and now I am sat in my craft room where I am at my happiest.  I have Create and Craft tv on in the background and a mug of coffee by my side what more could a crafty girl ask for! :)

This is the first card I have made today, I have used a cute little stamp from LOTV.  I have stamped out the image and then cut them out separately and coloured them with my Copic pens.  I have mounted them onto a die cut scalloped circle and added faux stitching round the edges.  I used a Martha Stewart edge punch along the bottom of the white card and then added another layer of the lemon card with faux stitching.  The sentiment is from a Little Claire stamp set.

Well better get on, I do have my Mother's Day cards to show you but that will have to wait for now, perhaps two posts in one day, who knows :)
